Charity Photo Shoot Day!!

Today RK Collection used our beautiful stable of muscle cars and exotics to play host and participant in a calendar photo shoot sponsored by the Carolina Z Club and Vitex. Sales of the calendar will go to benefit the North Carolina National Guard Soldiers and Airman Assistance Fund- benefiting the service men and women and their families in times of need.

The event was great and several Z Club members stopped by, along with two amazing members of the National Guard! Of course, the models and the cars all looked beautiful- from RKC’s collection the photographer chose to use the Ferrari F-40, the Ford GT, the blue Indy Car, and the 1994 Dodge Viper we have on consignment. Additionally, in the background of EVERY shot, will be RK Collections prized resto-mod known as RK-1, our 70 1/2 TA, a 1958 Chevy Impala here in Storage and the 1967 Blue Camaro RS here on consignment.

Several other private owners brought some of their gorgeous cars to round out the 12-month 2011 calendar featuring gorgeous local models. Be sure to check out our Facebook for behind the scenes shots of the day-long shoot and stay-tuned for information on where you can pick up your own copy of this amazing calendar!!

Here’s a little sneak peak of what went on:

Let us build for you!

What’s YOUR Dream?
We have been having SUCH productive meetings here at RK Collection these past few weeks! This morning we discussed not only creating muscle car restorations and resto-mods that fit our customer needs, here in North Carolina and all around the rest of the globe, but also making sure that our customers know that we build by popular demand AND we build to suit!

The BEST part about RK Collection is that you, the customer, can walk right through our doors and tell us all about your dream car- and we will build it for you! Exactly how YOU want it! We don’t build out of kits or based on specific layouts- we build for you!

Dreaming of a Ford Mustang? How about a Shelby?

Maybe you’re more of a Chevrolet fan- Camaro? Chevelle?

What about something wild and crazy- something like our Lime Green Plymouth GTX?!?

The choice is yours and yours alone!

RKC isn’t limited by brand or model like some of those other guys out there- you GET what you WANT! Want that old look, with modern electronics and features, like navigation? Sure- we can do that! Just check out RK-1:

Or maybe you want that car from the late 1960’s to 1970’s that looks and feels the same way it did when it rolled off the assembly line- you can have that too!

Any anything in between!

Just call us, e-mail us, or come and see us if you find yourself in the Concord North Carolina area (Charlotte Metro)! Even just to take a look around and see what we can do! We’d love to meet you and hear what you, our customer, has to say! And remember, you can even bring us your current muscle car for your mechanical, restoration, and body work needs!

Don’t forget to keep checking in here at www.rkcollection.com and to follow the links on our front page and contact section to become a fan of RKC on Facebook and a follower on Twitter! We truely are the home of the finest, most collectible, muscle car, exotics and motorcycles around!

I apologize...

I can't believe I haven't posted since Friday! What was I thinking?!? The good news is that we should have a new blog, up and running and attached to www.rkcollection.com, any day now! That way I can do everything all from one place and not get behind! Not too much to report- lots of tear down and sandblasting on the 1967 Ford Mustang project car and finishing up some odds and ends around the shop- these things take some time! The boys were busy building some new shelving units today- lots more cars means lots more parts and we need all the help we can get to keep these boys organized! I'll have to get back there with my label maker and have at it! We got the new engine run stand in today, need one other piece to get it operational and then it will be a huge help in ensuring everything on the motors are 100% correct and functional before dropping them into a car! I know the boys will be happy- its not much fun having to pull a motor back out again if something isn't working right! Other then that, just tear down, tear down, tear down!! And clean-up, clean-up, clean-up of course!! Hope everyone is well!

Destruction has begun!

Always the worst part to see- the tear-down on the 1967 Ford Mustang project car has begun. The guys always make it super beautiful again, but it takes some time, and seeing it all torn to bits is hard!

Work on that continues today and some minor odds and ends on a few other cars that are just being finished up! Lots of "spiffing up" to do on the consignment cars we just got in to get them ready for sale! can't have them sitting out in the showroom, next to their beautiful muscle car counter parts, looking dingy!

Don't forget to visit us on Facebook (RK Collection, LLC) and follow us on Twitter (RK Collection)... and of course, visit our website often for updated info and tons of pics: www.rkcollection.com !!

Fans

Its so great to see how fast word is spreading about the great things we do here at RK Collection! Its great to be able to bring all of these wonderful American Muscle cars back to their glory and have them driving and looking like they did when they first rolled off those assembly lines (most times, even better!). Our Facebook is showing 59 fans and Twitter is up to 8 followers- and it's only been a few days!

The guys went out and got a new car yesterday! And we may even have another one in the pipeline- still have to go check it out! Can't wait to see what's in store for these vehicles. The restoration process is so incredible to watch- our team is just amazing, the best work, the most brilliant ideas and just impeccable work.

Of course, everyone is excited that its Friday- hope you all have a great weekend. We might be heading to some local car shows- depends on the weather and the plans- maybe a road trip for another car? Don't forget race weekend in Atlanta with NASCAR- root for our family over at Michael Waltrip Racing!
